Specializing in transforming mundane sounds into music, my passion for sound draws the listener into the experience. Whether designing sounds for the web, theatre, film, radio, or television, I will create sounds that match the tone and shape of a particular project.
The video below a promotional video for the Art Gallery at the 2003 Siggraph Conference that I work on with three digital artists at Bowling Green State University. I was responsible for all aspects of the sound track including recording, composition, and mixing.

With seven years of experience recording classical music, sound effects, and spoken word, I offer high quality work at a reasonable price.
computer engraving
As a composer and saxophonist, I am well aware of the impact that notation has on not only the pace and flow of rehearsals, but also on a performer’s initial impression of a musical work. Because of my strong computer background, I am also able to create notation suitable for web and print (books, dissertations, etc.). In addition, I can produce graphic scores or scores that use other unconventional notation techniques.
saxophone, composition, and/or max/msp/jitter lessons
Saxophone: I am skilled in classical saxophone literature and a range of contemporary techniques. For the young saxophonists, I will teach the fundamentals in a creative environment that exposes students to the richness of music. First and foremost, I will share my passion for music.
Composition: In addition to teaching compositional techniques, my lessons will expose students to a wide range of contemporary music.
Max/MSP/Jitter I have been working with Max/MSP/Jitter since 2001, and have completed a number of complicated projects. In addition, I have assisted courses in Max since 2002, which has exposed me to the common misunderstandings students have when starting out.
custom audio/video solutions
Have an installation or mixed media work that you need help executing? I have a history helping artists and composers execute their ideas. I am comfortable with a range of technologies including Max/MSP/Jitter and SuperCollider that will allow me to create a custom solution that is robust and simple to use.

web design
As someone with close ties to the world of contemporary art/music, I will design a solution that matches your goals and budget. My designs use modern techniques to emphasize content and simplicity. I am comfortable with using Wordpress, so that once the site is live you can update the content from a simple web interface.
